OK, so I am going to start adding posts of the quilts that I have made over the past couple of years.
This T-Shirt quilt was made for my neice, Marissa and contains t-shirts from her swimming events. I actually found some fabric that has flip flops on it for the sashing. The color scheme of gold and purple is for Minnesota State where she is going to college and continuing her swimming career.
In this picture you can see the gold and purple fleece that I used for the backing material (I did not put any batting on this quilt due to the weight of the t-shirts and the fleece). Also, I took some of the extra t-shirt material, the flip flop material and the fleece and covered a couple of pillows.
