It took me over a year of collecting red fabrics for the cabins but most of the fabrics did come from my stash.
I finished the blocks on January 8th and got them all sewed together tonight!
The pattern calls for making a scrappy border from all of the fabrics used in the quilt but I don't really like how it looks.
I am considering putting a small border of the sky fabric on the sides and top and then a dark green border around it all.
I would welcome any comments or suggestions. I have my Quilt Bee meeting at my house next Monday so I hope to get some suggestions from them also.
I get to see it Monday night and be part of the discussion, but from this picture I would probably go with a plain green border.
